Hi just a question about the colour of the gene/ mutation but do they mean. Ie Green/Blue and purple.
Also what do the 2 letters stand for ie (CC) or (EF) at the start of the gene/ mut mean?
Thanks -D

Green means a carried trait (ie. no trait visible on the pet in that slot), blue is a visible trait, and purple is a hidden trait (visible trait with another trait that could be passed on to offspring as well).
The letters refer to the traits on a Sylesti. The first letter, C or E in your examples, is the visible trait, and also the dominant trait, as its letter is closer to the start of the alphabet. The second letters are the secondary (or hidden, if the letter is different) traits.
I'm sure there's better guides to this than I can write at the moment.

We cover colours in section 9 here, but in basic:
in a gene tested pet, Blue = visible traits, green = carried traits, purple = vis trait with a hidden trait under it.
(non-gene tested pets show blue and double letter for any visible traits, regardless of if they have a hidden/different letter, and don't show green/carried traits at all)

The letters tell you what trait it is (and their dominance- letters closer to the start of the alphabet are higher dominance (except 'N', which is the letter of 'no trait/no vis', and is Highest dominance))
If you go to the generator and select a species, the letters are beside the trait name.

Either of the letters a pet has can be passed down to offspring.

So a Sylvorpa with:
Blue G1 SS has visible Clown Triggerfish trait

Green G1 NH has carried Blue Tang
What you see v

the carried trait v

Purple G1 FR has visible Seashell with carried/hidden Clownfish
What you see v

The hidden trait v
