Hi, I am new on here, just joined a few days ago.
I think the site looks really good and so far I'm having fun with what I've learnt (starter tutorial was very helpful!) but its extremely overwhelming, so much information to try learn and figure everything out.
I'd really appreciate anyone who can help me out with things in small chunks because I get information overload and can only process small pieces at a time
Thankyou!

Hey, and welcome!
A good tip for everyone starting out: don't fill up your stables with cheap Sylesties, especially if you're a hoarder. Instead, save up your money (missions help with this) and sell excess gear when you get it.
Make sure your battle teams are well rounded. Most people recommend either a Tank/Cannon/Healer or Tank/Cannon/Cannon setup, and an Earth or Shadow pet is often pretty reliable for combat.
Make sure to read everything. Don't rush through.
Feel free to pick any two (same-species) pets in my stables, and I'll breed them and give you the offspring!

Hello, thanks for the welcome! Seems good advice not to get to many pets right away, I didn't feel inclined to as I like to be cautious and figure out what pets are good and everything but yeah!
My current pet is Air - is there a recommended other element for my 2nd pet?
and thankyou - is there an advantage to getting an offspring of someones pets rather than just creating your own or something?
thanks for your help!!

I don't really know much about element matching but since Air is an offense type you should probably choose a support (Light or Water) or Defense (Shadow or Earth) type. The advantage off getting pets from other players is that it is harder to find pets that have several traits and/or good color schemes. Even the highest level essence (the thing that you create pets with) can only create either 2 visible traits or 4 carried traits.
If you would like you can chose a for sale pet or two from my stable or hatchery, I will sell you them for free. (Excluding ferrikkis because they are extremely hard to find/buy.)

Hm, not much of an advantage just at random. Some people sell better-looking or higher-stat (better at combat) pets, but otherwise it's effectively the same.
When you get your second pet, I'd recommend getting an Earth or Shadow, putting it in the first slot, and putting Air in the second slot. That can seriously help out with strategy later on.
