I'm trying to get started on breeding projects, among other things, but I've yet to get some basic supplies (exceptional genetic scanner and infertility kit), plus I'm going to need more stables to hold pets until I can somehow sell them.

I'm not sure whether I'll get much interest in this though. Battling and power-levelling just happens to be what I'm good at here, but I plan on being a free-to-play player, which means no buying diamonds for real cash. Unfortunately, some things I can only get with diamonds. I also have no idea what a good currency exchange rate between diamonds and gold is. For people selling gold, it goes as high as 1800g, but for people buying diamonds, it goes as low as 2000g, and I want to make the gold I earn really count.

Any advice on what I'm meant to do?

Occasionally there are pick a door and other official games that you an do for prizes, the prizes vary from free stables to free generated pats to diamonds. You can try to enter some and see what you get if you win.

If you have the gold, you can always check out the Currency Exchange (under Trade) and buy diamonds off of there. The average rate is 2500 gold for a diamond, 2000 during a diamond sale. You can also get a few hundred diamonds each year from the Winter Fest's Advent Calendar.
