This is just how it sounds. I've been on this game for....awhile, and in this entire time, I have never defeated Vierna, or her spectral at least. Is there a trick or something to defeating her? I cannot seem to ever complete the Dungeon.
I feel really stupid asking this, but I am super stuck!

1- always aim only for Vierna (do NOT bring a fire pet to this fight), trying to take her out before she kills off too many of her 'henchmen'- the more of them that die, by her hand or yours, the stronger she gets in her second stage.

2- she uses her mana drain technique that heals her in her second stage, and uses it roughly?? every five turns? I think the count starts from when she changes, but I dunno? So you want to store up mana for just a few turns then Finishing Blow before she can absorb it or use the mana up some other way.

3- Max Stats and/or pets higher leveled than 60? Make? SO much difference in that fight???
She was a nightmare for us to fight, running to over 70 or 100 moves and full of tears and item use from us... then? we used a max stat team for the first time because we were training them?
She went down in like. twenty five turns total.

Now our lv65+ non-max team just. steamrolls her in a consistent 12 turns, it's baffling to us.
