The Easter Egg Hunt is a brand new feature this year. Hidden throughout all of Sylestia are 21 Eggs. Visit your Easter Egg Hunt to receive the first clue on where to find your first Egg. Then seek it out and once you find it, return to your log to claim its prize and unlock the next clue. Continue until you find all 21 Hidden Easter Eggs!
The Easter Egg Hunt is available to all players. However, players must have fully unlocked a region before being able to unlock any clues for that region. Your log page will tell you what you need to unlock in order to receive more clues. If you have already unlocked the Lost Grove, then you will already be able to obtain all 21 clues.
Please note, clues are random for every player. So not everyone will have the same log.
Prizes increase progressively with the more Eggs that you find. Find all 21 to receive an exclusive avatar item: [Scepter of the Egg] and the Title: The Eggstraordinaire!
Please be considerate to others when completing your Egg Hunt. Please do not publicly reveal locations of the Hidden Easter Eggs that you find. If someone wants to ask you privately for tips, that is fine. But please refrain from saying how you obtained certain Easter Eggs on the Forums (unless a thread is a dedicated *SPOILER* thread), in General Chat, or in Region Chat. Just as excited as you may be when you find your Eggs, please allow others to share that excitement as they try and find their own. Thank you.
Easter Egg Collections
As we had last year, we have returned the Easter Egg Collection feature. The original Easter Egg Luffox Set, the Oopsie Easter Egg Luffox Set, and now the Ferrikki Easter Egg Set will be available for the duration of the event.
In order to obtain Easter Egg Luffox Eggs or Oopsie Easter Egg Luffox Eggs, players must battle in either the Viridian Meadows, Umbra Forest, or Astryl's Vale regions. However, if a player is at or above a User Level of 60, they can only obtain these Eggs from the Astryl's Vale region. Additionally, the higher one's User Level, the rarer these Eggs will drop. This is to try and balance players against each other and to prevent the mass farming of these Eggs by players with very powerful pets and lots of experience.
In order to obtain the Ferrikki Easter Eggs, players must battle inside the Lost Grove. Any Named defeated will have a guaranteed chance of dropping one, while any other enemy can drop one. Additionally, for every 9 Ferrikki Easter Eggs that a player collects, the drop rate will slightly be reduced. This is again to prevent over farming of the Eggs and to keep them valuable for all players.
For last year's Egg Sets, the naming and Trait policy remains the same. For those new or who may not remember, each one opened receives a special Name, the Bunny Tail mutation, and sometimes the Loppy Ear or Neck Bow mutation.
For the new Ferrikki Egg Set, while there is no Trait inclusions, they will come with one of 12 unique special Names. They will also come as ready to hatch Egglings so that players can apply philters and hatch them manually. They will also be a 2-Visible Easter Sunrise Ferrikki Themed Pet.
We wish everyone the best of luck in collecting them all!

New Avatar Items
We have released a handful of new Avatar Items available for the duration of this year's event. As mentioned above, the [Scepter of the Egg] will be available as the grand prize from the Easter Egg Hunt.
We have also released Sylesti Egg Baskets and both Ferrikki Pillow Pets and Lupora Pillow Pets - the literal kinds!
The [Sylesti Egg Basket (Easter)] is available as a prize from the Easter Egg Hunt. The remaining baskets and all of the Pillow Pets can be obtained by defeating Named and Elites in the Lost Grove or from the final bosses of either Dungeon.
Additionally, all 8 of the Pillow Pets are included in the [Eggcellent Easter Bundle] from the Diamond Shop.
New Pet Traits
Trait Slot: Gene Two
Trait Name: Menacing Eyespots
Trait Slot: Mutation One
Trait Name: Petal Pollen
Trait Slot: Mutation Three
Trait Name: Lop Ears
so those who don't have all the areas unlocked will not be able to compete?
Unfortunately, if you can't access a location, you can't collect those Easter Eggs.
Fortunately, you have 2 weeks to finish the storyline and unlock the Lost Grove (which will unlock all 21 clues). You can still collect all of the Easter Eggs in the locations that you do have unlocked, though.
