I'm going into the troll place and when i go in i have no traps. It has me stuck on a part where i need traps but dont have any so it wont let me go farther or back. It also will not allow me to buy any traps from the store while im in active battle

There shouldn't be a case where you are required to use traps to move on....
Which part are you on? Maybe take a screenshot of what you're doing and what the game is telling you to do? Are you able to defeat the opponent and finish the battle?
