It's been over two hundred years since Darkstalker has disappeared forever. Jade Mountain has changed. The Winglets now have two of each tribe, more classes, more teachers, and more space. Recently, though, the dragons in charge of the Academy made a new Winglet for the increasingly common Hybrids, as well as dragons with unique abilities. The Opal Winglet, chosen to represent the colors and differences of dragons. However, not all dragons appreciate the change. Some think they shouldn't get 'special treatment'. And the IceWings are flat out hostile, threatening to withdraw from all communications and trades. But when one of the NightWings has a vision, and dragons start going missing, they must question everything for the answer to a question they don't know how to ask.
The Opal Winglet divides the 14 dragons into two groups. The first is a hybrid who lives or identifies with that tribe, and the second is an unusual dragon, so a dragon with a strange power or a weird color, even if they are completely of that tribe.
You can have multiple dragons, and not all of them have to go to school

Personality: Reclusive, seems stuck up at first, fascinated by other tribes, kinda just wants a friend who won't freeze
Appearance: Shock white, but his wings, tail, and spikes fade into a pale blue, he has startlingly bright cyan eyes, and the undersides of his wings have faint 'feathering' like frost on a window. He has a sprinkling of light blue freckles on his snout.
Backstory: He was born to 3rd Circle parents and when he was born and kept alive they dropped to 4th. His parents cast him out in hopes they could reclaim some honor.
Crush?: Maybe if Carmine shows up, if not, probably Nightforger
Pets?: Nope
Other: He has a deep fear of the Ice Kingdom due to his father, Hoarfrost.

Age: 5
Gender: Female

Winglet: Opal
Powers?: Occasional foresight and weak emotion sensing, can breathe fire
Personality: Shy, nerdy, excited about school, tries to not get notices, flustered, mumbles, loves to sing when she thinks nobody can hear
Appearance: A dark purple instead of black, and her left shoulder has a white comet-shaped birthmark, down to the tail, which fades into purple. Small and skinny for her age, her wing undersides aren't purple, but instead a mix of colors, still very dark, and only purple, blue, and pink.
Backstory: She freaked out the other dragonets by being silent and noticing too much, according to them.
Crush?: Open
Pets?: No, but wants a sloth
Other: She wants to go home and hide. She doesn't like how other NightWings don't like her.
Name: Willow
Age: 6
Gender: Female
Tribe(s): Mud/Rain
Winglet: Opal
Powers?: None, I'm afraid, but pretty strong
Personality: Very kind and caring, loves little dragonets, the motherly sort, doesn't get mad at anyone, but will protect her 'sibs', even if they aren't related
Appearance: She looks a little bit like 13 in this 49 dragons grid, but a good deal lighter brown, and the colored scales are more greenish. Willow has a wider snout too. If you know what freshwater sunfish look like, think that.
Backstory: She has a sister named Gator and a brother named Fen. Fen is more RainWing but Gator looks like Willow. Their parents live on the border of the rainforest.

Name: Zaffre
Age: 7
Gender: Male
Tribe(s): 2/3 Sea 1/3 Ice
Winglet: None, he's a helper to the teachers
Powers?: He has really cold breath and gills, and can see in dim light well
Personality: Smart, chill, too laid back to fight people, a bit of a high opinion of himself, partial to anything shiny, can be fierce if provoked
Appearance: Rich cobalt blue with pale blue eyes and a lighter underbelly, like 47, has faint glowing scales without a definite shape, but he can't control when they glow, it's automatic, and cyan 'clouds' along his sides. He has webbed talons.
Backstory: He helps the teachers and takes care of the school. Zaffre doesn't talk about why he didn't decide to be the hybrid SeaWing. Something about his family.
Crush?: Open
Pets?: He would buy a pet rock from Seaglass. Or sell a huge load of them to Seaglass. Rock transactions with Seaglass are a thing.

Powers: Can breathe underwater for a limited amount of time, the luminescent scales on their body are the only scales that change colour. They can spit weak venom, but only if there is enough moisture in the air. He has many personal rock dealers. Personality: Seaglass may be the smallest bit insane. He has a habit of collecting rocks and throwing them at other dragonets. Most of the time he hangs out by himself and chats to thin air. If you approach him from behind he will most likely freak out and run off.
Appearance: (A 39 on the grid) Backstory: His siblings were killed by sharks when his parents were out catching food. When they came back they found the sharks attacking their last remaining child, Seaglass, and fought them off. Seaglass since then was mentally traumatized and his tail was too badly injured to heal properly, so part of it fell off. His gills were injured badly, so now he can barely breathe underwater.

Other: Higher pitched voice than normal male dragonets, missing part of his tail, torn gills.

Powers: A sixth sense of danger, like a spider. Mind reading, although it's underdeveloped since he was born under one full moon and a half-moon instead of two full moons. His "Frost-breath" is more like a weak snow flurry, which he only uses for entertainment when it's cold enough. He can breathe short bursts of fire only when it's warm enough.
Personality: Nightforger is meek and quiet. He prefers to hang out with Icewings or Icewing hybrids rather than Nightwings, as he's afraid of rejection by them. Nightforger is constantly on edge and shrieks with alarm at the lightest touch of the scars on his wings and back. The Perfectionist. Likes pets from Sc0ut. Appearance: (A 35 on grid)
Backstory: Nightforger was born to cruel parents. One of which, the Icewing, abandoned him with the other. The other parent, the Nightwing, took their anger out on Nightforger at even the slightest mistake. Nightforger couldn't help it, however, because he was skinny and blind.

Other: Blind, English accent, scars on wings/back from his younger years.
