Luna was new to the area and she found an egg, abandoned and alone. She didn't have a Sylesti and it seemed like they were required here. She took it home and took gentle care of it. A week later, the egg began to stir. She was proud and little did she know, this little eggling was going to save her one day.

fast forward 3 years time

Luna and her Sylvorpa, Sam, were in town, Esior's Haven. They had supplies for cheap and the people liked them. They usually got free supplies or something, Sylesti catching nets and food. Sam went off to play with a Puffadore as Luna bought potions and elixirs for their next mission. Then suddenly, there was a loud explosion at the gates of the town. Luna called to Sam, but he didn't return. She was frightened, she ran around shouting for Sam, he was gone. Bandits flooded the town, swinging swords at the citizens, and burning down the buildings. A Bandit attacked Luna, she dodged just in time, but tripped to the ground. The bandit swung again, Luna shifted her body and her stomach was sliced, she called to Sam and whimpered. There was a squeal, Sam and the Puffadore were standing there. Sam's eyes went midnight black as he summoned his strongest shadow spell, the Puffadore's body let off a soft glow as she summoned a light spell, together the bandit was blasted back and Luna was healed. Sam and the Puff crawled over, Luna hugged them both,
"Thank you.",
She was so frightened that she had lost Sam...and herself. She looked at the crowd of Bandits and told Sam to have fun. He used a muli-hit attack, The Puffadore looked at Luna for her command, Luna was shocked it would listen to her, she stared at it,
"You're a light element...can you blind them?",
It nodded and as Luna turned away, it flashed a large beam of light, blinding all bandits but leaving the villagers untouched. Sam made work of the Bandits as the Puffadore helped get the Villagers to safety.

Hours later, the Bandits were dead or fled. It was quiet, the burned down houses, the trashed streets, and the lost Sylestis. Everyone looked to the Sheriff and the new Mayor for help, they didn't have a clue what to do. Luna, Sam, and the Puffadore all looked at each other. They knew they could do something, but should they?
