So i met Cereth, a bandit guy in fungus grove, and i tried to fight him but lost. But the thing is i cant level up my sylesti or get better relics and stuff, because wherever i go, it still comes up with 'you are attacked by Cereth' ;-;

So im in this endless loop of reviving my sylesti, trying to defeat Cereth, dying, reviving. Over and over again! I tried switching around the amour and relics i used on my sylesti but nothing will work!

First off, you might want to purchase another party slot from the Hunter guy in the plaza of esiors haven. Then, Earth as a proficiency is not very useful. You want to take him out quick, and you want to take him out without him taking you down first. So i would suggest Shadow. It deals great damage and heals you as well. Then, for equipment, get illusionist and arcanist ones, since they add to the intel stat. Get equipment the highest rarity as you can. Rare would be alright, since you probably can't get legendaries yet
