I just got 50 essence and i dont know what it is.

Essences? THey're used to generate pets. Seeing as you have fifty, I'm doubting that's what they are, but I'm not sure what else they could be.

Yes. like the icon. There are 3 kinds of essences and they correspond to 3 different colours: orange, purple, blue. The icon also looks a bit different depending on what species it is.

the orange one is called [Mystical (species) Essence]
purple ones are called [Enhanced (species) Essence]
blue ones are called [Regular (species) Essence]

the image you linked is a [Mystical Aeridini Essence]

I am aware of what i linked, i was asking the person what they think the item that is essences looks like.

Are you sure it was essence and not Advancement Points or Reputation Points?
