I'm not really a newbie but I don't get this... If an Imperial Peacock griffi and a Majestic peacock griffi are bred, would it count as a purebred or a crossbreed?

Those are two different themes (even though they share the same restricted trait set), so offsprings would be crossbred.
The only time an offspring is a purebred, is when all its ancestors stem from the same theme (so they are all tagged themed, or purebred of that theme)
