I know
Eggling to Hatchling: 3 Days
Hatchling to Adolescence: 6 Days
Adolescence to Adult: 18 Days

But these are at 31 days and still adolescents. and none of my others of the same species took that long.

What are at 31 days? We looked in your hatchery, and the oldest one in there is only 20 days old?

Pets grow up base on their maturity, not age date. You can only see the maturity of the pet in it's image code if it has been genetically tested.

They become hatchlings at 72 hours, adolescents at 216 hours, 648 hours.

While these roughly translates to the number of days you just quoted, the difference is there are numerous factors that can affect maturity, while the age date remains static and just counts the number of days since the pet was created in the system.

These factors include:
- nurtures increases egg maturity
- page views increase hatchling maturity
- magical pies increase adolescent maturity
- not hatching an egg when it's ready delays maturity (for the number of hours it was delayed up to 24hours when it auto hatches)
- site downtime freezes maturity (regular Monday downtime, or otherwise spontaneous)
- releasing a pet freezes maturity (or reset to the base of that age stage - not too sure about that since I've not tested it)

so my guess is, there was something along the growth of the pet that delayed it's maturity, and thus, its not an adult yet.

If your pet is genetically tested, look at the image code, and near the end, there will be a &maturity=__, where the number there is the maturity in hours. Check back again in a couple of hours, and if it increases said number of hours, all's good, and you just need to wait till it hits 648.

If the number does not increase, then post in the bug forum. Best to link the pet, and show screenshots of the maturity with time stamps.

If your pet is not tested, the only way to check would be to get it tested. There are players in the groups/services forum that offer free testing services.

Hmm... they're both at 582 hours at 10.35am game time, so another 66 hours to go. It does seem a little weird that the maturity and the age is so far off, that's about a week difference... Usually the difference is just off a few days. =/

Yeah I think I figured out what happened. Thank you for your help. A couple magic pies caught them up to where they should be.

No problem, glad it's all worked out.

Just wondering, what do you think happened? I'm curious, cause i've never seen such a large disparity before.

I think it's cause I had released them for a week before changing my mind.

So their maturity hour counter in the img code was a week behind their profile days counter.

Glad to know the mystery's solved! Lol
