Hey everyone, I need a quick clarification.

I have noticed for listed traits that they either appear in italics or simple font. Is the traits in italics carried traits, and the simple font ones are visible traits?

Italics are "Carrieds without visibles", simple is "Visible", I believe there simple is also "Visible, with hidden Carried", but I don't think there's a tell for that in the game, though wild-caught pets do not seem to have that.

Italics in a pet's profile is carried, yes.

We go over the differences between Vis/Carry/Hidden in section 9 of one of our guides here

Wild pets can definitely have Hidden traits, but you can't see them on the profile, and like carried traits they can't be seen in Advanced Search unless the pet has been Tested.

Example of wild with Hidden:

this epic lupora
His page genetics says:
Gene One: None
Gene Two: Kitsune
Gene Three: None
Mutation One: None
Mutation Two: Mechanical Wings
Mutation Three: None

But if you look at him in ASearch:

You see he has the gene for Yeti (E) Hidden under his Kitsune (C) marking

Pets that cannot have Hidden traits are Generated/Regenned pets
