Hi,

When I go to my inventory, the page either does not load at all or is slow to load.
It's the only page where this happens.

I wish this was an easy fix, but it's not.

It's the combination of a few factors that I can't really easily fix.

I've already planned out how the new system will work - it's just a matter of actually coding it.

I'll take another look and see if there's something I can do. But I think unfortunately, for the time being, we all will just have to deal with the long wait times.

Made a change. I can't tell if it's worse, better, or the same though lol.

It's about the best I can do until I recode it for the new layout.

Pros: Sometimes it loads correctly
Cons: When it loads incorrectly now, you can't do anything on the site, end up having to wait a few minutes, and then re-log in again. (pretty bad)

I think changing it back would be better. I do think the inventory page should be one of the first pages you rework.

Reverted the Inventory back.

I was testing out whether having so many items in my inventory was causing the slow loading.
For my test I sent myself a tab of my items to myself w/ a 0 CoD fee.

Before I did this it would take minutes for my inventory to load or it would not load at all.
After removing the items from my inventory it loaded in less than 10 seconds.

Yea. The process of storing the inventory information itself is bad and then retrieving the information for each item is bad.

Put the 2 together plus loading Inventory/Equipment at once. It's just too much for most people's CPUs to compile all of that information.


When I recode it, it will load a lot, lot less with a more efficient method. It'll function more like how Ethernia does versus the old towns (the ones that took like 10 seconds to load b/c of the Barracks).


Thank you for doing the test though. I can't imagine that was a quick process.

(it took less time to test than for my inventory to initially load lmao)
