For once everything was calm...in fact it could even be called peaceful. Carefully a pair of bright eyes light up, the flesh like covers removing them from their dark homes. The sky was the first thing these eyes saw, with is vast open plane of a soft indigo like blue lightly dotted with small bits of white. About the edges of this plane an orange and black hue blended with it making it seem almost like a painting that some skilled artist had labored over for years. Small flakes of ash whiffed to the ground, covering the small blanket of grass in a light grey color as a fire raged on just a few feet away. Yet only peace was felt, and nothing remembered. Each limb was heavy, useless even if they had been called upon in aid. There was only the sky above, and a feeling of peace. Again darkness seemed to take hold, wrapping everything in its thoughtless embrace shielding it from the cold world outside. When again these eyes opened they were, among many others in the seats of what could only be called a small passenger plane, full of families much like themselves. Crates and boxes filled the surrounding area, limiting any space around each of the passengers. Even in this time of peril and demise all that was felt was peace. Nothing could be heard as the cockpit exploded into flames, not even as the passengers themselves caught fire, as the pilot slumped over the controls and his copilot bleed out into a lightless bliss. Only silence came with grief as a parachute was placed on each child then woman then man until none remained. The wind rushed about for a moment, and the strap in hand pulled though the ground reached up to welcomed all in its embrace still and no more was seen.

"Good you're coming to! I was starting to worry that you weren't going to make it after all!" A voice called as the eyes awake. There was a warm, yet not threatening, fire near as well as a man crackling as it ate away at the duke it was given. He didn't look too familiar yet at the same time he didn't seem to be a stranger. His skin was covered in soot, yet one could still tell he was rather young just by his appearance, even if he was still old enough to be a father. He sat there for a moment, his bright blue eyes reflecting in the fire light. As if unable to let silence take over he spoke again. "You were from the plane right? I saw it when it went down, rushed over here as fast as we couldn't help, Me and Flicker that is." He motioned to a medium sized animal next to him. The animal looked like a black dog from the back yet it's head was covered in a mask like skull. It looked up slowly as it was called before returning to its nap, not amused at the sight of visitors. "Don't mind him, he wouldn't hurt a fly unless I told him to. Say you weren't alone on that plan were you two? I-I didn't see anyone else, not even in the wreckage. Surely they wouldn't let two young children go alone like that, and I doubt either of you know how to fly a plane yourself" As a gap of silence came over the group he sighed. "Let's start with something a bit similar...what's your names?"

R-Reese Ieus.. she muttered, still with a foggy head

Blue! Blue Rivera. she said, surprisingly easily, especially considering the circumstances. She gave a weak smile.

"It's nice to meet you both, I'm Sam Green. But seriously you two weren't alone on that plane were you? I didn't find anyone else besides you two. In fact I didn't find anything other than you two..." Flicker looked up then, stretching as he yawned, his razor like teeth catching the light. Wagging his tail slightly he padded over to his master and sat at the man's feet. Happily the man patted the animal's head, scratching its ears.

Well of course there were other people. I certainly dont have the money for a private jet and she doesnt look like the pilot. No offense. Blue said and pointed at the other girl

"Do you remember who? Like I said I didn't see anyone else around." The man answered putting a hand on Flicker's head. The animal gazed over the fire with his unblinking stare as if watching their every move. "And how old are you two? You look to be just kids. If I had to guess I would say nothing over ten, and I'm normally not wrong."

Erm... she thought, a bit nerved by the animal

I dont remember anyone. I didnt know anyone personally, so honestly, I have no clue. Blue said. She smiled awkwardly.

"Well then that does put us in a bit of a situation. Did you have any family aboard? Like your mom? Maybe an older sibling?" Sam asked though it seemed to not be helping any at all. Impatiently Flicker stood shaking his fur a bit before trotting off into the forest beyond the clearing.
'Don't harass them too much while I'm away.' The animal said though only to where Sam could hear. With that he slipped into the darkness.
"I'm just curious is all Flicker." Sam huffed drawing his knees up to his chest and gazing into the fire.

Reese went quiet, standing stiffly
