When a sylestie is released does it become one of those wild sylesties you meet in battles? Or does it just 'delete' the pet from the game and the wild ones are just randomly generated.

When released it is able to be reclaimed yet costs a lot to do so. It can't be found in the wild and yet not deleted. It's there but not obviously yet it's limited by your overview if you can reclaim them. Hope this helps

Yes thank you. I was mostly just asking for knowledge and i have someone who keeps buying mass amounts of the pets i have/had for sale and releasing them, so i was just wondering it actually had a purpose behind it

Generally that sort of thing happens if you are selling the pets very cheaply. There are players that go through the sales looking for overly cheap pets, buy them, and release them, to try to help clean up the market and help the economy of Sylestia. (Basically, most pets sold for very cheap are because those pets couldn't be sold for more, and therefore probably won't sell at the lower price either, and probably should be released so as to not clog the market.)

Oh. I do have my project drop outs priced cheap, but I was just doing it so they's sell quickly and players with limited gold might have a choice of a pet with a trait or two. But I guess its not good for the market?

I used to sell pets that I didn't want anywhere from 1g to 100g, but the releasers forced me to change my habits.

If you don't want the releasers to buy and release your pets, you have to sell them at 500g or higher.
It's unfortunate, because I, too, like selling pets at cheap prices for newer users.

Whether or not it helps/hurts the economy of Sylestia, I don't know. The releasers say it helps to release cheap pets, and I guess I kind of see the logic behind their reasoning...but I still mourn those pets that I sold cheaply out of oblivion who were released. If I had known, I would've sold for higher.

Hope this helps.

Yah I guess I'll have to go higher. It's just a bummer because some them were actually nice looking qitaris that I'm sure someone would have liked.

I wish people would say exactly why they're releasing, though I asked a few times when I returned what is a good price no one has really answered. If they're releasing because I'm underpricing I would like to know, but they mostly release the ones that mostly carry (including some that carry restricted traits) so maybe they're releasing because they're less desirable.

I don't know and I wish they'd tell us, for users like me who know about the economy concerns I'm left guessing, for new users like you they're left completely confused.

Hi, one of the releasers here. Most of us aim for the 1g pets out there that no one really seems to want. Most of the time, we buy them and release them in the hopes of helping out the market, and boosting the economy, as many pets that were once considered high value are forced to drop in price. For example, you can find some beautiful nixi that are 4+ trait, good colors, good everything, and they are selling for under 100g.

I release pets that i either no longer want or have the space for, as i don't want to keep them in my stables. I will usually try to sell them cheap for a few days and if no one wants them, they get let go.

I wish there was some way to alert everyone that if you price sylestis under 500g they will get released...
