The Lost Grove is difficult even for level 60 pets. You may wish to level up a bit elsewhere before trying to go through it. The Dungeon of the Forsaken is a great place to go. Lots of experience there.

Buy exotic or at least legendary gear that suits your pets. Consider boosting healing by swapping illusionist for pyro/evoker- It'd make your light pet worse at taking damage but better at healing everyone, so if that's a tradeoff you're interested in, make it.
