can you earn diamonds on here? or can you only buy them with irl money? i dont have the extra money right now t buy diamonds, so i am looking for other options.
also, how do you earn scales? im curious!!

There are usually two ways to get diamonds.
1. Buying with real money.
2. Buying with gold from the Currency exchange (last link in the Trade tab)
Sometimes diamonds are awarded as official contest's prizes but that's not a constant thing.
Scales are earned by nurturing pets - eggs and hatchlings.
You can do it through your hatchery ("Help nurture" button) or through Advanced Search.

for the diamond you can go to to the curencie exchange to swap gold with diamond with another player. You may be able to trade a rare item for some diamonds as well on the item forum if you have on.
You earn 1 scale by egg / hatcheling you nuriture.
