Hello! Well, I created a Sylvesti with an essence I had, and I chose the colors and such, and made sure they were the colors I wanted, but when I created the Sylvesti, the color completely changed.

http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=543 You can see how its base is brown; that is not the color I chose. I chose it to be the same color as color two, which is the following:
R:164 G:039 B:106

And the messed up color looks like this:
R:100 G:039 B:031

I know I picked the right colors when creating the Sylvesti, because it asks you to double check when creating it. I have no idea what could have happened when creating the Sylvesti?

Thanks!

The generator isn't 100% it has a swing variable. There is another thread where they explain in more depth...lemme see...

@Neve

This is actually working as intended. Our generators have a +/- swing on them for each RGB slot. We have this system in place because we feel like it would lower the challenge and replayability to the game if every time you generated a pet you got exactly what you wanted 100% of the time. We would like breeding to be a big part of our game, so we would like people to try and breed colors/mutations that they want in pets.

The regular essences are also fairly common, you can get them by basically doing anything in the game. Exploring, nurturing, playing games, missions etc. So once more people start playing then they should become fairly common on the trade broker. The enhanced essences are suppose to be very special and rare, and that generator has a much lower swing on the +/- factor. You can get the enhanced essences also the same way as the regular, they are just a lot rarer, or you can buy them in the cash shop.

We will always though consider player feedback, and if enough people feel like they dislike the generator this way we will evaluate the +/- swings and perhaps adjust them a bit. Sorry though that your pet didn't come out the way you wanted, hopefully that doesn't make you love him any less!

Ooh, that makes sense, I suppose! Although too bad it came out brown, I hate brown, haha!

Thanks for explaining that to me. (:
