Victoria looked up in awe at the Hogwarts Express. "It's amazing, Ma," she said, looking up at Penelope Clearwater, her adopted mother.
"Yes- yes, it is," Penelope's eyes seemed wet with tears as she recollected her memories at Hogwarts. She looked down at Victoria. "I'm going to miss you."
"Don't worry!" she said, laughing. "I'll write- borrow one of the owls from the owlery. And you're going to miss Echo too!" She held up the small kitten she had gotten as a gift from Penelope.
"Oh, I will!" She hugged Victoria, then nodded at the train. "Now go make some friends."

Jay stood near his sister who was obviously nervous. She wouldn't stop fidgeting and was rambling on about not making any friends. He sighed. "Pipes you will be fine!"
