Chapter 1:
Ash stared in confusion at the picture in front of her. It showed a guy, about Ash's age. He had dazzling blue eyes and black hair. Ash was almost too distracted to notice sand, slowly filling the room. Ash jumped up, her eyes widening. Sand began to fill the room faster, and Ash fought to stay above the sand. At one point it had stopped her completely. It began to fill her mouth and nose. Ash let out a strangled cough, before waking up. God, this was the second week in a row. Suddenly she got a text. Ash jumped up to read it.

Today's Saturday! I'm sick, but you don't really believe in ghosts, right?
"Shoot." Ash said with a growl. Today she was SUPPOSED to meet Kaelah at this haunted mansion. Ash checked the time. She was supposed to be there right now. Ash groaned.

Ash walked up to the mansion. Shadows loomed around it, the towering pine trees covering everything. Ash sighed. This would be... fun.
Ash walked toward the door. Ash turned back towards where she came from. This would be on the news, local dumb kid gets killed by her stupidity. Whooooooo. Ash froze suddenly as her eye caught on something... red eyes, hiding in the undergrowth. In her panic, Ash opened the door as open as possible, and hurried inside, slamming the door closed. Darkness surrounded Ash for only a second, before some candles magically lit themselves. Ash looked around in fear, her eyes wide. God she was stupid. So, so stupid. Ash grabbed a close by candle. She seemed to be in some sort of living room. Spooky.
"Hello? I-Is anyone else there?" Whispered a small voice.
"Don't worry Lily, I'm still here." Said another.
"Now in hearing ghosts!!" Ash cried in panic. The door on the other side of the room opened, and Ash threw the candle at it.
