Like the title says, the Festive Qitari theme has the most technical flaws of any species, and I'm pretty sure this isn't intended.

This is a link to a Festive Qitari who came from the Black Friday event. Taking his colors into the generator, there are two flaws that are immediately made obvious to anyone who knows how the Qitari genes work.

Yellow Mane, color code EFD063
Yellow G3, which affects the mane, color code FAD568

Can't see Highlighted Mane, or Striped Mane, or Raccoon Mane. 3 out of 7 genes cannot be seen at all.

Red Scales, color code A2070A
Red G2, which affects the scales, color code B40506

Can't see Striped Scales, can't see Faded Scales, can't see Tipped Scales. 3 out of 9 genes are invisible. (And the Solar Champion's Restricted one looks horrible too, but at least it's something.)

There's also a third technical flaw on the G1, but it isn't as drastic as invisible traits. It's just... ugly blob traits.

G1 is red, color code A3110F
C2, where G1 takes accent from, is also red, color code A2070A

Abstract
is a blob, Tiger is a total missed opportunity, same with Magma Runes, and I think I've made my point.

M3 is much the same in this situation.

M3 is red, color code B10804
In most traits M3 takes accent from C2, which is also red, color code A2070A

Pegasus Wings? Solid red. Butterfly Wings? Solid red.

The original Festive Qitari, as designed prior to their revamp, don't have all of these issues. Highlighed Mane, Striped Scales, Butterfly Wings, all seen. Messy because the color swings used to be horrible, but visible.

I don't think the Festive Qitari was ever given a second look after their revamp, and it's something that I just can't stop noticing because so many traits suffer in almost every slot. So I'm just going to point out the oversight, and suggest this for an updated colorscheme in the hopes of bettering one of the more special, hard-to-obtain themes. My suggestion will be shown on the left with full 6V, and the current version will be on the right with identical traits (despite looking like 4V instead of 6V; it's just the invisible traits.)

To date, only the Lunemara received a Themed Update post revamp.

Qitari are super late due for AC1 and AC2 being added to them and then a full Themed Update.

Unfortunately, that's the best answer I can provide at this time.

Oh wow, that was a quick response, Krin! I'll just take that as this being something towards the bottom of the to-do list; I just wasn't sure if it was known or not and this theme, for all of it's repeated colors, definitely got the short stick for themes post-revamp. Didn't notice any others but now I'm tempted to look :P

It also made me notice some more layering issues for the megathread of layering bugs, so.. there's that. Do you ever get tired of seeing those? I'm sure I've posted at least a dozen by now and sometimes I feel bad about it >_>;

Haha. Definitely don't feel bad. I'd much rather be aware and get them fixed than not know.

Everything is just super swamped atm, though. =(

Mm, I bet! Lupora revamp, upcoming new species, winter fest, upcoming megazone, and a whole list of other things like layering bugs! I feel better about posting them, at least, but I do wish there was more the that community could do for helping you and the site sometimes - other than pointing things out like "hey, this needs to be fixed" and all.

We definitely appreciate everything you and the rest of the team do! :)
