An ancient prophecy foretold that one day the sky would turn black as night and the sun blood red, the very next day, the beggining of daybreak, an unknown ancient evil would rise from the sun and devour the world. Some say that this is only a metaphor others, the religions believe that all of their god's enemies are coming for them and you as members of these religions have been asked to aid them in their prevention of these evil demons and monsters.
This is set in a world where all mythical creatures from the stories from religions. You can choose whether to be human or not. The world is other than that identical to Earth as it is now. Basically none of the old religions died out, so Ancient Greeks beliefs and Egyptian beliefs etc exist.
The religions put together a task force of some of their warriors to band together to train, connect, figure out what is going to destroy the world and then fight it off.
!Don't make your characters good at everything, give them some good weaknesses!
(There will be a character that is the goddess who created the prophecy, she will not appear until everyone is gathered together and then she can only be around when she is summoned by one of the people accomplishing the prophecy.)

Personality: Calypso is a quiet person, they seem quite spooky at first, quiet and observant, then when you get to know them, they seems kind of evil and mischievous, they have a twisted sense of humour and have an odd concept of optimism.
Appearance:
(When changed into gorgon, eyes glow and hair turns into snakes that float upwards)
Backstory: Calypso had a very ordinary life, they were adopted as a baby by a lovely family with two other children. Then they turned seven, that was when a robber broke into their house and threatened to destroy their family, they were overpowered with rage and shifted into her gorgon form, for the first time. They killed him in their rage, by the use of poison. The family came home and deemed them a threat to their children, they ran away and was found by a group of people worshipping the Olympic gods and was brought to their temple to be raised and taught.
Strengths: Can become stronger and faster when in Gorgon form, uses poison (One is very painful and slow harming, one is a fast killer, one allows her to manipulate people so long as she has her staff), can speak latin, good at art.
Weaknesses: In Gorgon form they are instinctive and that puts them in danger, not a team player, No sense of smell, can't trust people easily, weak not in gorgon mode, Can't interact with people normally.
Hobbies: Painting, Drawing, Stargazing, Reading greek mythology books, Playing Violin, Watching human interaction to understand.

Backstory: She is younger than most goddesses and wrote the prophecy whilst having been possessed by some demon who had just heard of the plot to destroy the world. After writing it, her should was trapped inside of the words and her body became an empty hollow shell, seeming for her to be asleep. The other gods predicted that when the first stage of the prophecy came to pass (The gathering) She would awaken to guide them.
Strengths: Can shift into a phoenix, can heal people once a day, sometimes she can tell prophecies but only about the original prophecy, can teleport through light, can manipulate light so people see things and form weapons.
Weaknesses: Not particularly strong, shifting takes a lot of energy, prophecies take a lot out of her and make her feel horrible, if she tries travelling through darkness it can taint her soul and turn her evil.
Hobbies: Writing poems, playing the harp, singing, martial arts, swimming and cooking.

Weaknesses: She is not very intelligent, using her powers wares down her energy, every few days she needs to offer him a sacrifice or she loses her powers until the next sacrifice (she can only sacrifice at midnight), at the supposed end of her life she will be sacrificed herself and work off her power uses in the afterlife.

Backstory: Augustus had a very normal life, he was born and raised in a Roman city, raised as a warrior to protect the city. He used to fight as a gladiator as a method of training so he understands the terror battle.
Strengths: August is strong, he is good with a sword, he is quick thinking with combat and has a good aim, he speaks Roman.
Weaknesses: His heavy armour makes him slow, is extremely sensitive (Sensitive to bright lights, loud noises and in some cases pain), afraid of heights.

Kami had an ordinary life with his mother and his half-sister up in the mountains. When they turned 8, a criminal group came into there home and threaten to kill their mother. Being kids at the time, they were very impacted about death of there loved ones. Because of this, something happened to Kami and Yami. Their power awaken. Kami turning into a Nine-Tailed Fox and Yami turning into a Phoenix they annihilated the criminal group. With Kami freezing half and Yami burning the rest. After the group was annihilated there Mother who was threaten was not fazed at what her children have became instead trained them so they can utilized all there power correctly and taught them how to fight.Later on there mother told them why they were like this was because of who there father was. Kami's Father was a Nine-Tailed Kistune and Yami's Father was a Phoenix. Sadly they disappeared and has not been found for some time

When in Phoenix Form she can fly and healing wounds, and rebirth from here ashes. She rules over all fire at her will and can summon it. High regeneration power. Excellent at swords.
