It should be made easier for males to pass down their genetic traits. It would make things a whole lot easier for passing down, say, the Valentine Lace gene if u r lucky enough to get it on a pet.

There's no association between a pet's gender and the traits it's able to pass down - Valentine Lace is naturally a less dominant gene than most other traits, so it's going to be hidden more often than not. The only way to change that would make, say, Valentine Lace way less valuable and take over lots of the Sylesties on the site. It would also probably require a complete overhaul of the breeding system, which is more of a minor thing than the MZ, fests, and pet revamps.
Also, there's a reason Valentine Lace, as you mentioned, is a restricted trait. It's not supposed to be as common as the Sylvorpa's Rippling Runes, as an example.
So, no support.

Ah. That's a simple misunderstanding - you must have more female pets with more dominant genes than males.

Yeah thats probably right, plus one of my males ,when it breeds w/ any female, the offspring can have all visible mutations that the mother had 2.
