Many years ago a horrible mining accident released the most poisonous underground gases into earth's atmosphere, many died instantly while others tried to hide in bunkers but they didn't cover the bunkers good enough. Military made bases to shelter survivors but it wasn't the same. But the most strangest things happened...
No one knows what happened but fragments of the ground began to float to the sky. The gases did cover earth but the air beyond the clouds, where it was nearly impossible to breath, suddenly began breathable. Many ancient creatures from undiscovered fossils awoke and it seemed the toxic fumes turned them into different extraordinary creatures that are impossible to have been created and defy logic and reason.
Floating Island's were the last hope for humanity, but you are in unknown land, where you make a wrong move and you could fall to earth where the toxic gases still are...
The creatures on these islands vary from harmless to dangerous,but with skill and dedication, they can be tamed to help you, some fly, glide, climb and dig their way through the floating islands where they call it home.
The question is...Will you survive this new way of life with few around and few resources to live in this new and strange land?

Some islands are connected by fallen tree's, strong vines or naturally formed stone bridges

Snow Hunter: Lives in Northern Islands. Great rock climber, bigger then a lion. Rideable. Meat & creature eggs. Cross between wolf and snow leopard
Jungle Hunter: Lives in Eastern Islands. Great tree climber, bigger then a lion. Rideable. Meat. Wolf but with lion and tiger traits of stripes and roar sounds
Crystal Hunter: VERY RARE. Lives in caves in Western Islands. Can climb effortlessly, even upside down. Meat and theorized it eats minerals & metals. Cross between wolf and feline, bigger then a lion, Rideable. has parts of it's body made from rock with crystals growing from them.
All Members of the Hunter family can crossbreed with a different Hunter to create hybrid, but very rare
Quill Bird: Lives in Middle & Eastern Islands. Large bird with quills in its tail feathers, wings and back. 22 feet long from wingtip to wingtip, 14 feet from beak to tail feather. Rideable. Berries & bugs.
Glider: Lives in Middle Islands. Large flying squirrel, 4 feet from head to rear, tail 1 3/4 foot long. Berries & bugs. Makes great companion
Greater Glider: Lives in Middle & Western Islands. Large flying squirrel that has resemblance to Australian Sugar Glider, 14 feet from head to rear, tail 2 feet long. Rideable. Berries, bugs and anything sweet. Makes great companion and can glide very long distances
Canopy Bird: Lives in Eastern,Western & Middle Islands. Giant Microtaptor 25 feet from wingtip to wingtip. Rideable. Meat & bugs. Glides easily from Island to Island
