this happened 2 times already, that whenever i fight a boss for, like a long time (for example, my mom tells me to go to sleep when im fighting one) later i appear at the entrance of the howling pass
another thing, i cant seem to use boosts. the use boost button always greys out

The zone was reset earlier today, so that's why you were put back at the entrance.
And in order to use boosts (in Snow Wars?), you have to own the card to be able to use it. If it's grayed out, then you must now own that particular boost.

oh okay
and yes, in snow wars, i do own two boosts right now, then cannon boost and the fortress boost, both first level, but even when i click on it the supposedly green 'use a boost' button is still grey

This confused me too for a bit, you click on it and then click on a unit. The boost only works on a single unit.
