The morning sun had arisen on the horizon, spreading it's luminous glow upon a newly formed village planted at the edge of the Sunburnt Wastelands, overlooking the bottomless seas. The people there seemed full of hope, they believed that they could bring something to the awful wasteland besides bandits and thieves.

The stories of the ryori realm were unique... The tales of a female ryori who changed some of the ways that the ryori thought of things... They way she had befriended other sylesti... The way she was maybe not strong but brave. Keket admired that ryori... The one who had been banished from the shadow realm.
That ryori had been banished for different reasons... Keket had been framed for murder and injures to other ryori that she didn't cause. As well as that ryori... Being a distant relative of Keket. Keket was a very distant offspring of that ryori's brother, Kritanta,and his mate Lilith. She was proud to be descended from that glorious ryori but... She had always been looked down upon for deeds that her family had commited.
Now... Maybe that was why they hadn't believed her when she said she had been framed? Because of her distant relatives own actions? All she knew was.... That she was here now. She saw a town in the distance. She continued walking along. She sighed and closed her eyes. She was happy to be apart of a great family but... She didn't know quite how to act now that she was banished.
(Might have an idea to add good old Nina back in somehow but... For now I decided this is how it's gonna be.)

While the ryori was deep in thought, someone bumped into her
It was a rather large Vulynx, who was now staring down at her with condescending eyes. He simply grunted, planning to continue walking, before stopping and looking around. A look of confusion spread across his face, followed by a growl of annoyance

"Are you okay sir...?" Keket asked gently. She was slightly confused. What was so large? Was this the vulnyx species she had been told about? She was a bit concerned and then also... To some extent... He looked familiar.... As almost as if she had seen him before... Why would... He look familiar.... Was it because of Nina? "Um Sir. Did... Did you know a ryori named Nina?" She asked

He looked at the Ryori in surprise, he was hesitant to talk "... My grandfather wrote about a Ryori with that name..." His voice was deep and full of anger, yet also prideful

He suddenly stopped and knelt down, so that he was face to face with Keket "... My name is Iko, what is yours?" It was meant to be a kind greeting, although it sounded like it was a demand
