So I got a Bones figurine for Christmas, and they're attached. Nothing unusual for this figures (they're very little) They look like this.

-not my photo, but it's the exact same kind of figure and brand-

The attachment is super thick, and I cannot tear it off for two reasons: a) It's thick and won't detach(maybe I'm very weak) and b) I don't want to damage the figures.

Any ideas?

I'd recommend some bolt cutters or shears or something similar.

I'm not familiar with this kind of mini (they look pretty cool), but if they are anything like the various minis some of my friends get, don't worry if you cut them apart and the bottom isn't perfectly flat, you can either take something like an Xacto knife (if you have a steady hand, those things are SHARP) or a small sheet of fine sandpaper to smooth the bottom out.
