Welcome to the land of Shadows, once a flourishing kingdom of magic it has now fallen into despair with the rise of the current ruler of the shadows. The original royal family slaughtered on the night the new ruler conquered the kingdom with only the youngest two - a boy and a girl - escaping. Lead out by a servant not much older than them. Not long after rebels rose only to be quickly crushed. Years later the kingdom lies in wait, - it's radiant beauty lost to the shadows that conquered - waiting for the lost prince or princess to rise and lead them to an era of peace. This is the kingdom you are part of, ruled over by a tyrannical dictator with so many of the civilisation on his side, the rebels are a mere annoyance at this point in time - numbering less than fifty in total - and the lost royals are lost to myth with many doubting they survived the night.
