I was riding the train with my entire school as one of Santa's Elves. My school is not very, um, accepting of LGBT+ and changing your gender. Now, one boy who I was stuck riding next to the entire train ride was playing cards with the other boys. He turned to me and said in a really salty voice, "Why don't you get up and sit with your girly girl friends and let -name here- my man sit there." Now luckily -name here- wasn't able to because he had an assigned seat next to a sibling of mine. The boy proceeded to taunt me about being a girl, just like he did every Friday from the beginning of school. So that became a routine, be taunted, go home, and cry. Back to the subject (P.M. Me for full story). I straight up stood on the seat and barked, "I'm not a girl you dimwit, I'm Non-Binary get it right!" And he choked, threw his cards, and yelled back. "Your so disgusting! Your a girl not genderless. Don't ever speak to me again!" I sat back down an thought about what he said and pulled my hoodie down over my face.
Earlier this year he had said the same thing except he was making fun of LGBT+ people and I got in trouble defending them.

The thing that hurt most?
They used to be my friends.
FRIENDS.
And now?
I'm just another one of the kids they tear down.

Why did you get in trouble for defending the LGBT+ community? That's not fair...

Wow, sickening to see how cruel some people can be just because someone is non-binary, or in love with the same gender, or black, white, anything. When they say "You are disgusting for being _____", they are the vile ones there. People should just learn to accept others no matter how the feel about who they are or what and who they like.

Please excuse me if some things come off as harsh, since I'm not good at toning things down?
Sometimes I just don't understand why strait people don't accept the LGBT+ community. It makes me pretty mad. I don't understand why people can't just accept people who are different. D:< I understand it if the LGBT community has targeted a person. But you clearly have not, and that kid is probably just being an arrogant discriminating *Swearing*. At this point, even if they used to be your friend, it's pretty clear now that they aren't? And It's pretty clear this isn't the type of person someone would want to be friends with. So I guess It's best to just ignore him from now on, and try to find other people who are more accepting of you.
Nothing is your fault here, and you're gender orientation is perfectly acceptable.
(end of my (kinda) rant?)

my school, despite being full of either poor people or spoiled rich kids (The rich kids is where I'm from) is surprisingly LGBT+ accepting, there's a non-binary person who everyone just kinda like "Yeah, whatever, that's a non binary, we respect their pronouns and name even though we're pretty sure they got their name from voltron" (they're name is Pidge)
There's one exception, let's call him J. Stereotypical dudebro jerk. He found out I'm bisexual, and, it turns out, he's homophobic. When I say homophobic, it's because I don't have a better word, since I'm saying he's literally scared of gay people

I'm sorry that happened to you, Glitter. My friend told me about something similar from her art class. They had to make cause posters and one girl made an LGBT poster and some guys were making fun of it, whispering loudly and obnoxiously. It made her really mad and when she told me it made me mad, because I support these people. I don't care what you identify as, I like people for who they really are. Besides, I fall into the LGBT category. I'm bi. So, yeah. I'm so sorry. If you want to rant to somebody, I'm here.
