So I've just come back to Sylestia after some time away. My Sylestis are still getting the guts kicked out of them by trolls in enigmatic grotto. I've got some pretty good gear, I think..maybe I'm distributing stat points wrong? I don't know. Both of them are more...physical fighters. Don't really use magic. Maybe that's my problem?

At that point in the story, you would benefit greatly by having a 3rd pet in your party.

You should try and save up for the 3rd party slot and level a 3rd pet to Lvl 30+.

I snooped a bit in your stables and you may be having trouble because you do not have a tank-type pet as the leader of your party. Having the first pet having purely Health stats is very helpful since most attacks are directed at the first pet in the party.

Magic tends to be more useful [especially Light proficiency at levels 50+] since Light heals and Fire can attack multiple enemies at once. Though this is largely a matter of taste aha.
