Not really much of a problem, but it's been quite annoying
Basically, whenever I accept/deny a friend request, I go to another page but then the inbox tab is still highlighted, then when I click into it there's nothing

The same thing happens to me, it is slightly annoying because I think I have a new PM or something.

Think this has been a bug for about 5 years now. =P
I probably wouldn't expect a fix anytime soon. It will most likely remain until the feature is rebuilt.
