Being born with powers in considered a blessing from the gods themselves. Powers are so rare, that it's not known what they're caused by. Some think its completely random, others think it's genetic, some think its through prayer.

But no matter what- everyone with powers is hunted down. Not by society or anything, no, society treats them like gods. But no matter how closely monitored a powered individual is, they'll vanish, never being seen again.

Unknown to the public, the government is studying these individuals, keeping them locked away in facilities, under the control and assistance of an individual who's power is to disable the powers of other. Everyone keeps meeting a powered individual a secret, since they're so rare, and it's the right thing to do.

You are one of the ones gifted with powers. One day, you suddenly appeared in what seemed to be a hallway, with only one direction. When you reached the end, a woman was standing there, informing you that she can take you to a safe place, to protect you from being taken.

Eventually, both were captured by the government. Her brother was treated well, and was convinced to join the government. He helped his sister escape, and they haven't seen each other since.

Backstory: Though people still treated her well, she really didn't like her powers. Being a human with powers and the daughter of an incredibly rich family, she had almost no real friends, most of them just wanting stuff from her, so she mostly shut herself off from others, and never looked people in the eyes, mostly because of her powers.
