Welcome to: Song of the Night, Sound of the Light

The story:
There are two sides to this world; Light & Darkness sides, the Light dragons ally with the humans and are good friends, la di la di la. The Dark dragons are kind of solitary, occasionally invade the Light's territory to steal food or something, because they live in a place constantly in shadows with very little life, and that very little life is either deadly or mutated or in general horrible. Each side has their special crystal, a crystal of Light and a crystal of Dark that is kept in their respective special places, and it is these crystals that gave the Dark & Light dragons their homes, essentially. The crystals are what make the land the way it is.

However, the crystals have been stolen (Dun dun...) and the land begins to break down. Shadows start to creep into the Light's territory, and flickers of bright things have been seen in the Dark's territory. Both sides blame each other, and the relationship gets strained. Anybody could see that the both sides were on the verge of war.

But no, things got worse. Dragons and riders both start disappearing from both sides. When the dragons look for their lost comrades, they find a large crack in the ground some way deep in the mountains, exactly on the border line between Light and Dark. So, they decide to investigate. The dragons came back to their respective leaders, but they were insane, rambling about some evil mage who stole the crystals and enslaved the dragons and humans that disappeared. Of course, the leaders didn't really believe the story, so they continued to blame it on the other side.

War broke out. Dragons died from both sides, and nobody found the crystals. Attempting to stop the war, dragons set off together to find the source of the war, to find the crystals.

It is said the world's life force can be controlled by a song; and that song is sung by a very special dragon. However, the life force has been unbalanced due to the recent events. This dragon of myth is said to come when everyone is in need. Everyone is in need now, but where is this dragon? (This dragon can be created by somebody, but the spot will remain closed until there's at least some progression in the story)

"I'm bored!!!" With a over dramatic flop the younger dragon threw himself to the ground, his hind legs and arms suppened in the air as he laid on his back. Grunting some the smaller, yet nonetheless older dragon waddled passed, the metal of his armor clinking together.
"Quit yer yappin', it ain't tat bad." The Snapper dragon said in a thick gravel like voice. They had been walking all day, and every ten minutes his counterpart would whine bout something. It was certain they traveled at different paces but there was still no reason to rush everything.
"But I like yapping!" Gus whined kicking his legs some before jumping up onto his feet and shaking the leaves as well as some dry grass from his cloak. "Yapping is fun!...What is yapping?" The whole while he said this he ran widely about the slower male, jumping him a few time as well for effect. Currently they were what little remained of the forest, headed towards the fields as they add their way to town. Bo grumbled lightly before shooting the young dragon a glace the made him widen the radio of the circle he was running.

Shadow glided silently through the air, squinting as he flew into the Light's territory. His large shadow swooped over the forest as he made his way over to a village. Food! His eyes lit up as his mantle fluttered. Without warning, Shadow dove down at the village, unleashing a blast of black fire at the village. He roared as humans scuttled by underneath, trying to get out of the way of the dragon. Amused, he blew little puffs of black fire as he overturned a couple of houses.

Anguish lost track of the time.
He had been wandering for days now, looking for villages to raid. He was terribly bored and his claws ached. Sullenly he dragged open his wings and lifted into the cool air. The scent of smoke woke him from his daze and he soared in an arc towards it, curious as to what it was.

Shadow crashed through the village, overturning houses and wondering where the food was. Didn't every town have fields? Disappointed, he huffed and crashed his way towards the castle.

Anguish landed at the edge of the clearing.
He had followed the smoke and now picked up the scent of a fellow Dark. Grinning he trotted into the village like he knew the place, his Citrine jewelry jangling softly. Oh these jewels had wondrous stories to tell, but that is for another day.

Shadow's feathers quivered as he sensed another Dark dragon. Roaring and ignoring the humans beneath him, he turned around to face the other. "What are you doing here?" He spewed fire. "This is my town, my food!"

Anguish arced his neck and looked down his narrow snout.
"MY question is why you are here." He said, srcatching at an itch in his scales. "Theres nothing here but squirmy little people and smoldering huts." He muttered between his claws, of which were picking his meal of a sheep that had gotten stuck in his molars from a week ago.

"Hmpf." Shadow turned away. "I got here first, looking for food. You have no right to order me away."

Anguish pretended to be offended.
"Why my dear dragon, what ever is going on in that tiny skull of yours, there has to be a hint of common sense." He said examining his wicked claws. "But what the more can I do? You won't listen." He spread his feathery wings, the jewels catching the light of the fire hungrily. "Ciao, good hunting, even if it isn't practical." With that the strange dragon shot up into the air, circled the village, and headed for the mountains.
