Temples of Twilight

A guilty voice echoed through your ears, "Master, master are you alright?" you feel someone shake your shoulders, your head is throbbing badly, "Please, you should've told me.." you felt water trickle into your mouth. It felt refreshing, as if you'd never had water before, compared to the grit that was covering your tongue before. You couldn't remember much, but your palms and head were sweaty. A cold, wet towel laid on top of your head,
"It'll be okay, Master.." the voice murmured again.

As you managed to open your eyes, a person was bent over you. you recognised them, but you weren't sure from where, "Master you're awake!" they cried out, hugging you tightly. You felt tears on your shoulder. You couldn't remember anything except your name and that you were a temple capturer.

As you looked around, you saw you were in a room. It looked like it used to be white, but now the walls were covered in grime and spiders hung off the walls. The ceiling wasn't much better.
What do you do first?

Rules

1) Must ping & bold/ quote every time. Three warnings then you're kicked.
(Unless we've spoken before hand and I know you can't)

2) I control what you see/ what happens. you can't walk into a cave and find lots of gold.

3) Don't be op or a mary sue.

4) With your characters try to make them not extremely childish.. please?

5) Include if your character had any pets somewhere in your post

6) I have every right to deny or kick you.

7) If you do not reply for 5 days, you will be removed from the game unless you have told me before hand why you will be inactive. If I have not replied to your ping within two days, reping me it. I probably accidentally missed it.

8) only dreams controlled by magical narrator will become prophecies or lead you to temples

9) Temple draws are random! if you get a 1 star don't complain.

10) You can be defeated or even die.

11) Spirits get stronger depending on loyalty. The more you fight with them, the more loyal they get. You can only have five on your team so choose wisely.

12) No magical powers or doing the impossible.

Important information

"Temples are buildings where Djinns live. When someone takes on a Temple, they must complete it or die trying to. Before you get to the Djinns room, you can summon a new Spirit to help you take him on. The Djinn may have a range of tasks, testing intelligence or skill. They are like the Master of the Temples. if you complete a Temple you are known as a Temple Capturer. You also get to keep your Spirit" Ilya winked, giggling, "Although there's also treasure at the end~"

~Discovered by Swirlspot

"Spirits can not see Temples or Djinns, Master" Connie dipped her head apologetically

~Discovered by Flute

"We're in a sanctury. They just appear randomly if it thinks the Temple challenger won't make it to the Djinns room but won't be killed by the monsters there. It only can be opened by spirits." Ilya purred.

~Discovered by Swirlspot

"Think of Spirits as dead heroes who live in a place with no time or perception of reality. That is why we may not see illusions like temples and djinns. We may see spirits as they have been given a flesh form here in the body of someone of these times, so we bare the knowledge of the era we are summoned to." she continued after a pause, "Spirits may be past or future heroes, but here we are only ranked on our stars. I know every spirit out there, and they know me. That is why we rarely share our real names. Alicia is the one this body owns."

~Discovered by Clemenceau

"Nah, this temple makes illusions, master, that's why you may be able to see what I can't.." he huffed as he looked around.

Skills

Every spirit has a skill: Pound, Strike or Cut.

Pound
Pound is a finishing attack, it hits the target(s) into the floor. This deals a lot of damage the further up the target is.

Strike
Strike is a singular attack. Unless used after cut, it attacks one opponent and deals a lot of damage to them.

Cut
Cut attacks multiple. Unless used after Strike, it will give all targets int he area an equal amount of damage.

They may also have additional skills which appear at full loyalty

Swift
This allows the spirit to become extremely fast for a limited amount of time. it also increases their agility and chance of missing attacks.

Bolt
This increases the spirits accuracy, meaning their hits will never miss for a limited amount of time. This hits also have a higher chance of becoming critical.

Illusion
This allowed the spirit to make clones of themselves to fool the enemy for a limited amount of times. These clones can be destroyed easily and their attacks do little damage.

(More to come when ideas are given)

Elements

Every spirit has a given element. These elements all have different buffs.

Fire
Fire is quite a violent element and gives a critical attack boost. Fire elements are a lot more likely to get a critical attack. They tend to have a disadvantage against Water.

Water
Water elements can be surprisingly violent as well, but they have a high health boost. They are a lot less likely to die when being attacked. Water elements have a disadvantage against Air.

Air
Air elements have a speed advantage and use it regularly. They are better at close combat and can dodge attacks easier. They have a disadvantage against Fire.

Earth
Earth elements are usually quite tough. They have high defence and can get up barriers and traps quicker than others. When being attacked, they will often take less damage and give it back when they can.

Null
Nulls are over all good at everything. They receive a stealth boost. This leads them to be able to trick others easier on the battle field. They have an equal disadvantage to everyone.
