The meeting had been called nearly an hour ago...where were they? Normally a team assembled fairly quickly though today they seemed to be taking their time. Clinching his fists some the hazel haired boy stared down at the lost poster. Barks had been missing a week now and there was hardly any clues as to where he went. They needed to find answers! There was other animals that had went missing also meaning this was a serial case. Standing straighter the leather jacket he wore creaked slightly as the shoulder strap of his rifle rubbed it. There was a table in front of him with several chairs around it as a single light lit it up. The basement only had one light fixture so this was where the table had to be placed. On his end of the table was a laptop which had been a Christmas present from the year before, yet not it was so covered in stickers and logos it was hard to tell what color it was originally. Sighing Garret moved a hand to touch the Bluetooth headset in his ear. "Commander to Alpha team, what's your position?" He asked though the answer seemed to take forever to get to him. Great...they must not have signal on their headsets. Taking a sharp breathe slammed his hand down on the table. The room he was in was neatly decorated, with 'glass' containers holding relics from the teams adventures, posters drawn of each team member, a magnet board covered in lost posters of various animals, and head of the operation, Gills the iguana whom had a corner of the room to himself with his heat lamp. Gills was currently wearing his official suit that consisted of asset of wings since he transformed into a dragon. All that was missing was the team.

Puppet master to commander, right outside! Lolita said into the Bluetooth speaker, waiting outside Garrets door. She had her hand stitched suit on, with the kitty ears and tail, as her mother thought that cats could match the theme of the costume

Armin was eating lunch when he looked at his watch and gasped. He was late! He got up, ran to the bathroom and washed his hands. He didn't want to get food on his superhero costume. He changed in a flash and darted away. He pushed his super speed to its limit and barged into the meeting room where Garrett was waiting. He came to an abrupt halt. "Sorry I'm late. Lunch had me occupied."

Lily had suited up as soon as she got the letter. She lived pretty far away, and add to that the fact that her mother never wanted her to go out before lunch. So she rushed her lunch and bolted onto the streets on a bike. The streaks of cloth on her headdress flailed around on the wind. Arriving at the house, she already saw Lolita. ''Puppetmaster! Am I very late?'' Lily asked and parked the bike.

I am too! She said, with her bag of handpuppets looking heavier than usual

"Crime waits for no man." Garret said before turning to his laptop and typing on it in a brisk pace. "The thief has struck again, two miniature donkeys are gone now. If we keep wasting time then they may never be returned." Pinching the bridge of his nose some he took a breath. "Sorry for snapping, I'm just worried. Any signs of the others?"

Tori stalked up to the house's door, her face expressionless and her dark hair whipping around in the wind. "Puppetmaster. Index. I had to walk, that's why I'm late." She knocked on the door. Her hands, covered in dark leather gloves, retreated back to her side after she knocked. She was wearing all black and it would have been difficult to see her if it had been later in the day. "Commander?" Victoria leaned towards the door. "Anyone in there?"

Armin smirked at the commander. "But you know I'm not any good without food," he said. He heard a knock at the door and quickly opened it. "Come right in. We're late." Then he zipped into his seat. "So.... donkeys...... why would somebody want donkeys?"

"Wait up- it's a donkey this time? I mean, donkeys?" She sat on the floor, preferring it to the chair. "Who would want donkeys?"

''Only a true criminal...'' Lily clenched her hand into a fist for dramatic effect. ''Commander, do you have any info on where the donkeys were last seen?'' She still hoped to find some kind of pattern, despite it being seemingly random up to this point.
