Ok, would this go on games/contests/giveaways or Roleplays?

Basically, a game where you live in a kingdom of dragons and have to survive under a evil leader's rule.
You live your life like in a rp but I make up what happens to your character

Say they decide gender, name, and personality and I decide species, home, and ranking?

So it would play like this:

Me: a beetle runs around your feet
You have 100/100 health, 35/100 hunger, and 87/100 thirst.

Person: I attempt to catch it

Me: It flies off before you reach it
You have 100/100 health, 33/100 hunger, and 87/100 thirst.

Just asking because I'm thinking of making something like that

I think it could really go either way without breaking any rules. However, there are certain advantages to putting the thread in either forum. If you were to place it in the Games, Contests, and Giveaways subforum, then you would probably get quite a few more players. Even so, by placing it in the Roleplay subforum, you would likely attract more experienced players who would be better able to navigate the rules of the game.

In the end, it may depend on your overall intent of the game. If there is an object or goal to reach at the end, especially one that includes prizes, then I would recommend the Games, Contests, and Giveaways section. But if your intent is to explore an idea and follow a plot, then I think that the Roleplaying forum would be more appropriate. That said, I have seen this kind of thread more frequently in the Games, Contests, and Giveaways section. Basically, it's up to you.
