She wielded the blade that brought to death her mentor... Sephiroth. Everyone had heard and speculated that she had been with him. There had been rumors of love on the job but they were all rumors. She spoke very little of her mentor ever since he had died by her hand.

"You all have been selected to be trained! By me! We trust that you all can do your best in training and Lazard has given me liberty to train both of you. You will report to the briefing room when you have got your weapons and everything together." Diana said. She headed towards the briefing room and stood beside Lazard's right shoulder.

Vice picked up his weapons and looked at the other trainee. He was different. He wore a different outfit then they did. He wasn't probably from around here. He sighed and walked up to the man. "I'm Vice... You are?" Vice asked sheathing his swords. He smiled.

"Diana... We are searching for the masamune... And I trust you can find but It's dangerous so they are coming with you. Are you sure Sephiroth's dead?" Lazard asked.

"I'm sure! I watched him fade away!" Diana growled. Lazard growled and she looked away. "I'll kill him again if I have to. If he is alive... That is." Diana said. She saw a flash of Sephiroth. It was an old memory.

"I will never be alone." Sephiroth's voice rang in her ears. She shook her head and sighed. It was nothing. It meant nothing to her! It! Meant! Nothing! She growled and looked at Lazard. She was on the verge of crying. He touched her arm and then another flash. "You said... Break or fake. I'll fake it... Fake this hatred." Sephiroth said. She remember punching him hard and how he had laughed at her. He had laughed like a maniac! She closed her eyes tight.

"He was losing himself... I had to kill him! If I didn't then it would have been my fault for the death of the people. I wouldn't and couldn't let it get that far!" Diana said desperately. Lazard smiled and she looked at him. He nodded sadly.

"There has been a sighting of Sephiroth... That's why you're going out to Nibelheim. The sight of the insanity. You know where to head. Zack will assist you all. Take Vice and Rain." Lazard said. Zack entered the room and he looked at me.

"Hey Diana! Where are the trainees?" Zack Fair asked. She walked over to him and hugged him. "It has to do with Sephiroth doesn't it?" Zack whispered. She nodded.

Rain looked at vice he smiled "I'm rain where I come from I used to be top ranking." He said rain picked up his sword and put it in his sword sheath that was on his back

"We should probably head to the Briefing room... I've been there a couple of times but who knows what this is all about. It sounded important." Vice said. "My name is Vice." He started walking towards the briefing room.

She pulled away. "Lazard will you inform them when they get here?" Diana asked him and he nodded. She walked over to a chair and sat down. Zack sat down beside her and extended his hand. She shook her head and his hand went on his lap.

She knew they worried the most about her losing her sanity than Sephiroth. She smiled vaguely. "We will be giving you all a summon to use. Diana. You get the Bahamut and Zack you get the Shiva. The other two get the ifrit and the leviathan." Lazard said

Rain followed Vice he had never really ventured that far in midgar yet so he didn't know his way around very well

They were closer to the building. It was not too far away. Vice smiled. "I never knew this was going to be nice." Vice said. He closed his eyes.

Zack Fair watched her and saw her flinch. "Diana?" Zack Fair asked. She had always been like this since he died. He knew she was inside an old memory of hers.

She closed her eyes tight. He was before her. Teaching her how to wield her sword. She watched him charge her and she moved out of the way skillfully. "Fight me! Show me what you can do!" Sephiroth growled. I took up a Soldier distributed sword. She blocked his attack. She snapped out of it and her breath was fast.

"He's alive! he has to be!" Diana exclaimed. Lazard's eyes widened and Zack growled. "No! I watched him bleed out on the ground!" Diana choked out. Her throat tightening.

Diana got up. She couldn't let the memories overtake her. The chair was surely the one she had sat in at all the debriefing moments she had. She had a vision of the future. "Let it all burn! You know it should!" Sephiroth hissed in her ear. He had a hold of her outstretched arm. She was watching Nibelheim burn and he was stopping her from running to save Rain and Vice. "They mean nothing!" Sephiroth whispered.

She managed to get out of the vision. She knew she had the power to stop whatever he was doing. Suddenly, Vice and Rain entered the room and she straightened up. She looked at them and smiled. "Welcome Vice and Rain." Lazard said.

Vice knew it was an important matter if Diana looked panicked. He also knew Lazard was important and he didn't just inform anyone. "I am Vice." Vice said.

Rain stayed in place "if I may ask are you ok mam?" He said "director sir, reporting for duty." (In other words rain has done this a million times XD)

Diana nodded. "You are going out to Nibelheim where you will be searching for something we've seemed to list there." Lazard said not letting out any details.
