I've been on this site for about 3 years now and I STILL don't think I know how to work the Arena! I can't even beat the first challenger! I even use 4/5 mystical (red) equipment on my tank. Is there something specific or mathematical? I really would like help X_x

I'd check out the Arena Discussion for strategies on how to approach each challenger. Each one is different, including tweaking the stats of your party, so it takes a bit of trial and error. o:

Also, I find that the old 1tank-2cannon party build might not work well against certain challengers, even with certain equips. For example, all 3 pets in my arena party have maxed out intelligence/strength, if I recall, to do more damage output, and I just cycle them around when the leader gets too damaged.

It helps to have max stat pets because the max base health is 2000HP, which gives you more survivability in battles. If not, I'd grab pets that have naturally high base stats (like fableds) and pay close attention to how you stat them, comparing them to the Arena Discussion threads.
