Carmine huffed as Carnelian whacked her in the face for the third time. "Stop it!" The older dragonet just sneered at her, and Carmine ignored it. She was with the other Skywing dragonets on her way to Jade Mountain Academy. They were just approaching the mountaintop, and Carmine could see it was dotted with dragons from every tribe.
She swooped downward, touching the rocky cliff, right behind Queen Ruby. "Your Majesty," she intoned. "How long will we be here?"
The Queen didn't answer the question, she just said, "You're in the Lapis Winglet, Carmine."
Ardea
The Mudwing dragonet watched as the Skywings landed on the rock. They were all regal looking, with their copper and orange scales and bright eyes. Some even wore armor.
Ardea hoped she would get along with the dragonets in her winglet- the Lapis Winglet, she believed. She shifted her weight, pulling her wings closer together to let a Rainwing pass her. I hope they like me.... "Hello!" She yelled. "Anyone else in the Lapis Winglet?"

The Mudwing beamed. "Cool! You must be a Seawing, am I right? I'm mostly Mudwing, but I have a teensy bit of Seawing blood in me!" She sat, swishing her tail. "What's your name?"

Wolf flew quickly, wondering when class starts. He didn't want to be late and be scolded by his parents. He touched the scar on his cheek with a wince, his color changing leaf markings on his wings turning blue. He shivered, then realized he was right above school. "Oops! Almost went right past it!" He said with a laugh. "Maybe I should pass it on purpose? Nah." He flew down, his bag hitting his chest, the strap just barely choking him. He closed his eyes, not paying attention. He opened his eyes, then cried out in surprise as he crashed into a Seawing. He went rolling away, letting out a scream of surprise.

"Ah, I'm Ardea! It's a type of bird," she explained. She suddenly yelped in surprise as the hybrid dragon barreled into the Seawing. "Oh my pond lillies!"
Carmine
The Skywing and Rainwing hybrid looked up at the commotion. Three dragons, two of which were in a jumbled up pile. She walked over calmly, then peered at them. "You okay?"
