I have a dagger and i like it but i kind of like my character plain but i'll use it if i like it but i don't know what it means by stasis and i don't know if it'll help me in battles or it's just an accessory and if it's just an accessory i'm going to get rid of it.

It is just an avatar item for your character to hold. It does not have any effect on battles; only the pet armour, or equipment does that.
