I did have an owner at one point. She taught me to be loving and kind. When she died I taught myself how to survive I say, a trace of sadness in my voice.

"I am a long way from dying, if it isn't too sad for you, I wouldn't mind being your new owner,"
I respond, my voice cracking a bit suddenly.

Of course! I grin, tail wagging joyfully.

"Well, I suppose we should get going..." I say, standing up and beginning to walk away.

I get up to follow him.

I scramble around trashcans, looking for a fallen down one, I might not be a Raccoon but it's my best source of food. My small juvenile Capybara body heaves up and down with each breath, saying small is a bit of a stretch for Capybara's are a very large rodent.

I weave through ally ways to my home, a room on the second floor of an apartment building,
I hope the dog will be okay with the place. "I don't think we introduced ourselves, I'm Raven." How silly I am, forgetting the first thing to start a conversation.
