Piper felt herself fill up with giddiness as she bounded up the stairs of the airplane. It looked like any other inconspicuous airplane, and that was where her giddiness came from.

Giddy? About a regular airplane?, One may wonder.

But this was not a regular airplane. This was the airplane that takes a few 15 year-olds every year to a secret island shielded from humans. It took these students, along with a few others, to a secret school called Magia Academy.

Piper thought all these things as she checked her ticket. Being a daughter of a long line of light mages, she knew she would get in. She knew she would obviously get into Argi. She knew some light magic after all. She could change the color things were.

The brunette walked down the aisle. In the plane, exactly 98 first class seats were awaiting the new students. She took hers, one in the very back. There were exactly eight seats in the row, four on either side of the isle. She eagerly waited to meet the students that would sit next to her. NEW FRIENDS! YES!

"H-Hi!" Bera beamed to Piper. "Is it okay if I sit by you?" She asked, wanting to make new friends. Sitting all alone on an airplane was the worst..

"Of course!" The brunette smiled widely, her hair flashing neon yellow for a second. "I'm Piper Merriweather, Argi mage. First year."

Alana walked up the steps, glancing around grumpily. She already hated everything. Today she wore a black mask over her mouth depicting a sharp-toothed grin. Immediately, she took a seat in the back corner, away from everyone else. "Ugh."

Piper watched the girl who was wearing the strange mask. She sensed that the girl wanted to be alone but waved anyway. "Hello!"
