The wolves of the forest were great beasts and of great pride. To be called up to the howling stone to howl with the alpha was a great deal because that meant you helped the Alpha male and the Alpha female lead the howling. But every so often there was that one wolf. The wolf who never got to howl on the howling stone. His name was Alani.
