Ever have a short story you made, from something that happened to you, a random idea, or something you've been working on? You want to share it but don't know where? Cause it seems kinda pointless to make a whole thread for a one-shot. A short one-shot at that.

Post any stories like that here! There are only a couple rules:

USE ONE POST PER STORY.
The point of this rule is to keep it more organized. We don't want readers to have to search through the pages for the next chapter. You can have multiple chapters, but keep it in one post please.

DON'T MAKE IT TOO VIOLENT, AND KEEP CUS WORDS TO A MINIMUM.
I want this to be a everyone friendly thread, so if you are going have lots of violence or cus words in your story, either don't post here, or if there are a few it might be considerate to put a warning at the top of your post.

YOU ARE ALLOWED TO RESERVE.
However please post your story within a reasonable time limit.

SOME POSTING RULES.
You should add a story name, although it is optional.

Comments are allowed, although messaging the writer can help keep it more organized. If the conversations get too long, it would be appreciated if it was continued in messaging.

Also, if you would link all of your stories on your first post, it would help fans find your stories easier.

Halloween stress

It can be really annoying at times.

During the events, lots of chests are hidden around the forest. And during halloween, pumpkins are hidden too. So naturally i would try to go look for them, as they often contain gold or rare objects. The rare objects help me gain rare pets, and i love pets.

The most annoying part is the encounters. Sure i would love it if it was a themed encounter, but those don't happen very often. And while i love pets, i can't take in all the wild ones. Besides, some like being wild.

And not all the encounters are animals. Some are bandits, or during halloween, pumpkin reapers. They are the worst encounters. It's as fun as fighting zombies or giant spiders.

Anyway, like i said, the whole process of encounters can tear away at your patience. Eventually, i had enough.

"ANOTHER BULBORI?!?!" i half snarled half roared at the tiny rabbit, scaring it so badly it jumped three feet in the air.
"ALL I FIND IS BULBORIS AND ZOLNIXIES, AND EVEN MORE PUMKIN REAPERS!!! I'VE HAD IT!!!"
I turned to glare at the little bunny.
"Move it! You guys are giving me nothing but trouble!"
It didn't have to be told twice. It ran like a whole pack on Zolnixies was after it. My pets looked at me curiously. I never yelled like that unless something had really ticked me off. I scratched Lightning, my starter Quitari, under the muzzle.
"It's alright. I'm just pretty angry from all these unnecessary stops. They're slowing us down and wasting our time."

We continued, and for the next 20 minutes didn't see any other animals or pumpkin reapers. I think my outburst must have scared them off.
"As long as we only have themed encounters." I muttered.

It wasn't long after that before we came across a Zolnixie. I glared angrily at it.
"Seriously? AGAIN?!?!" I snapped, stomping towards it. My pets looked at me anxiously. I ignored them, and advanced until i was only a foot away from my opponent.
"Scram." i snarled, rising above it. If i had ears like it's they would have been flat against my head in anger. If i had fur it would have been rising as high as the trees. It i had a tail it would have been lashing. As it was, my eyes were flaring, my teeth were bared, and my fingers were curled into claws which i raised above the Zolnixies head.
Suddenly it lifted it's muzzle and howled a long tune. Two more Zolnixies leapt out of the forest, and instantly my pets surrounded me.

I was NOT in the mood for another fight.

As the Zolnixies began to advance, i clenched my fists and stood up straight.
"SCRAM OR I WILL USE WORDS I DON'T LIKE USING!!!"
They kept advancing.
"ALRIGHT THEN, I'M GONNA PUT A CURSE ON YOU!!!" of course i wasn't a witch, and i didn't know how to place a curse, but they didn't know that. They froze, but didn't run. Instead they looked at me with curiosity mixed with fear.
"TWO SECONDS!!!"
Their eyes widened.
"ONE SECOND!!!"
They tensed.
"CHALOTECH..."
They were gone before i could even finish. I don't think i'd ever seen anything run so fast in my life. Their eyes widened in fear and their tails tucked between their legs as they moved so fast i could hardly make out them as individuals. They all blended together in a panic frenzy as i raised my voice, rambling letters together.

"I guess this isn't so bad after all." i grinned.

Halloween is definitely my favorite holiday.
