There's a tiny circle right by my friend thing, and it's green. What does it mean when it's yellow?

I believe it means someone in your friends list is online. Unsure, though.

Yeah, green means it's online. Yellow has to mean another?

Yellow means they're logged in but not doing anything, like they're being inactive. Probably logged on but had to go do something.
