The descendants of the original four founders of Hogwarts are either said to be nonexistant or dead. Therefore, the sword, diadem, cup, and locket owned by them have been kept in a safe place.

But there are secrets that have not been discovered. Descendants of these four actually exist- and there are four current ones that do not know of the blood they have in their veins.

The year at Hogwarts is normal, as always. That is, until all the herilooms of the founders are taken away. They've mysteriously disappeared. And who knows what will happen with them in the wrong hands?
