I looked up, the glittering black letters on the side of the wall caught my eyes. The words spelled out 'WELCOME TO GOLDEN FALLS ACADEMY'. I smiled, this is where my grandmother worked, Mrs. Helina Rivers.

I shivered. It was freezing out, or maybe she just wasn't wearing the right coat. Something sped past me, hiding itself in the corner of the bushes. I walked over, uncertain, and moved apart the branches. A boy, with dark brown hair and huge lynx ears sprung at me. I screamed and rolled onto by stomach. Constantly scrambling to escape this Halloween-loving boy. I tugged his lynx ears and he howled in pain.
"Are you a human?" he asked me, his voice as loud as humanly possible.

Blue looked around. She was holding her teddy bear by it's paw in her right hand. She sighed. "I do wish my brother could be here..." she said quietly.

Kaiya watched the lynx hybrid tackle who she assumed was a human girl, fiddling with the hem of her shirt nervously. I hope humans are treated fairly here...
Ailin sped perhaps a bit too fast towards the academy, a light trail of smoke coming from his erratically flapping wings. Realizing how close he was getting a bit too late, he barreled into the building headfirst. He fell to the ground rubbing his head. "Ow..."

Bree flapped her wings as she slowly descended, attempting to land without hitting anyone. When she did, she looked around, smiling. Wow! This place is beautiful... Her wings folded closer as she walked, the tips brushing the ground.
She spotted a boy rubbing his head near the wall of the building. Putting the pieces together, she rushed over at once to help, frantically signing words with her hands. Are you okay?

The dark haired boy lounged in the shade of a tree, watching the other students go by. He rolled his eyes- he wasn't as excited to be here. He preferred solitude, especially from people his age.

Ailin looked up at the girl, though his vision was a bit wonky from the blow to his head. Sign language? Cool! He thought. "I'll be fine in a minute, thanks." Ailin chuckled awkwardly as he tried to recall the manners his parents tried so desperately to teach him. "I'm Ailin, pleased to meet you!" He said as politely as possible, determined to leave a good impression, or as good as it could be considering he was on the ground with an already forming bump on his head.
