(I know there are existing threads for this but I was too lazy to go and dig them up.)

So I have a few ideas for new player titles. Feel free to chime in with any ideas of your own!

Fashion Designer
-reward for participating/winning in an avatar item design contest

Geneticist
-reward for participating/winning in a pet trait design contest

Mad Scientist
-reward for participating in a frankenpet game

The Helpful? <maybe think of something better
-reward for being legitimately helpful towards the admins (eg, pointing out a mistake in some artwork or coming up with a viable solution to a known problem)

Heartless
-manually release X number of pets (1000?)

Kindheated
-rescue X number of sylesti (100?)

The Remorseful
-reclaim X number of released pets (10?)

X Enthusiast
-breed X number of X species/ fill an entire stable with X species (whichever works better)

Affluent
-purchase X amount of diamonds

Smart Shopper
-purchase diamonds during a sale

Big Spender
-spend 1mil+ gold on a single purchase

Explorer
-complete each dungeon X number of times (50?)

Good Samaritan
-complete X number of missions/tasks (1000?)

Fashionable
-have X number of items in your wardrobe

Hehe, I figured someone would find the "Heartless" title funny.

I LOVE these!

Out of these which one do you think you would be most likely to use?
(Just looking for feedback so I can come up with more new titles based on what people like.)

I would definitely use the Heartless one. So far I've released 46,172 pets, which is more than 10x the amount that I currently own. (4,364) I'm sure that eventually, 25% of those or more will also get the boot once I no longer need them for my project progression. I actually had to search my released pets by species and add the numbers together just to tally up the total up; the advanced search gave me the "Too many results. Please narrow your parameters." error when I tried to search all at once...

And I have 0 regret! :D


The rest of the titles look pretty awesome, too, although I'm not sure how the "Kindhearted" one would work. What counts as a "rescue" ?? Adopting egglings/hatchings when they're found in the wild, maybe?

Wow, that is a lot of released pets. (Though understandable considering the amount of stat breeding you do.)
And yes that is what I meant by rescued pets.

I'd probably go the Good Samaritan, Fashionable, The Helpful, Fashion Designer, or Mad Scientist. Perhaps different tiers for the X number of whatevers titles? For example:
-Good Samaritan: highest number
-Assistant: lowest
-Mercenary: somewhere in the upper middle (650, maybe?)
-Public Servicer: between the middle and the lowest, say 350?
I dunno, just thought that would be cool. And I would love a Mercenary title, no matter what.

Ah I think we need more titles. I really enjoy the Heartless title~ Reminds me of Kingdom Hearts.. Also like The Remorseful.

But as for what I'd use, I'd probably base it more on the difficulty of obtaining or rarity. So perhaps Fashion Designer or Geneticist.

Also.. "Big Spender" instantly reminded me of Futurama with Zoidberg.. If you don't know what I'm talking about please ignore me.

Oh uhm.. How about a Hoarder title? For people with extreme stables / amount of pets in general?
Kyokai the Hoarder... *sniffles* my parents were right about me all along!

You could break it down to species. Zolnixi Hoarder and such. Could work like 'Enthusiast' for 100 of one species and 'Hoarder' for 1,000. Or you know.. You play with the numbers. But you get what I'm saying. Or keep it just general / totals.

Maybe if the Games, Contests, and Giveaway forums are split, there could be:

Game Maker: Created X threads in the Games forums

Player: Posted on X different threads in the games forum

Participant/Contestant: Posted on X different threads in the Contests forum

Generous: Created X threads on the Giveaway forum
