Jazz was sitting upside-down on her couch, furiously mashing the buttons on her controller. She died and threw the controller down, pausing to take a bite of popcorn. "Stupid game. This is game-ception and I don't like it!!!" There were two ways to play a game while in the game. What she was doing, like one would in real life, or by going to the hub, and actually being the character in the game.
The green-haired girl got up and walked outside. "I'm borrrrreeeedd."

Ruby double-jumped and fired her dragonling's fireball at the Hydrakken. It crumpled and died, and the little Hydrasneks disappeared as well, leaving behind the Shadow Tower vault. "And another one soloed," she muttered, pulling out one of her Moon keys and unlocking the vault. Several glowing items, mostly staffs, popped out and were summoned into her inventory. Ruby pulled up the inventory and looked through her new items. "Have that, have that, have that... that one's good, let's switch that out." She opened the second tab and switched the new staff with her old one. "All right, let's head back," she mumbled, opening the chat and typing on an imaginary keyboard. Seconds later, all traces of her presence vanished as she warped back home.
